Grade 43 High Test Welded Steel Chain (NACM96) is a type of chain that is commonly used in applications where high strength and durability are required, but not as heavy-duty as those requiring Grade 70 or Grade 80 chains.

The “high test” designation indicates that the chain has undergone a specific heat treatment process that increases its strength and toughness. This process involves heating the steel to a high temperature and then quenching it in water or oil to harden the metal.
